Alison Sweeney

AlisonCompany Director Dr. Alison Sweeney is a Human Resources specialist with a broad range of experience in both HR and work-based training with an emphasis on how to get the best from the workforce and promoting a healthy environment. Prior to setting up her own practice Alison has worked as a HR manager for over 15 years and also as an educational coach (Thesishouse.com). As an experienced consultant, she has an excellent reputation across a range of organisations in NI for the delivery of first class consultancy and problem solving. She has operated at both Managerial and Operational levels over the past 15 years and her experience lies mainly in the private sector.

Prior to 2011 Alison was the manager of Human Resources and Training in a media company for over 25 years and project managed as Head of International Partnerships in 2012. She has also lectured at the University of Ulster is a Business Section columinist writing about HR and offers advice on work-based issues.

Alison obtained her BA degree from the Queen’s University of Belfast, a MSc with distinction in human resource development from the University of Ulster and more recently, her PhD in Education from the University of Ulster Belfast with a research focus on Human Resource Development and work-based learning.
